Visual Literacy in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this hands-on session, you'll be the student as we view and analyze iconic images. Then, pick a topic that matters to you, generate thoughtful questions, and create a video with music to represent your topic for engaging Social Science or English classroom lessons.

Julia Peacock

Teacher, Perris Union High School District
Over my ten years of teaching, I have become a fearless tech user. It turns out I can't break anything, and even if I mess something up, I've got really bright students and tech friends to help me fix it! | | Incorporating technology in my classroom, especially for managing student work, has saved me hours of after school time. It's also freed me up to spend more time on what really matters: students and learning!
